Work Hard, Play Hard
Tauranga Boys’ college prefects wanted to promote and sustain a “work hard, play hard” culture among the school community. “Work hard, play hard” was a concept developed where students work hard in class and after the work is done, can do activities they enjoy outside the classroom. We believed that “work hard, play hard” was an important culture to sustain as it meant for a productive classroom but also encouraged students to enjoy college life by involving themselves in co-curricular activities. Not only this, the culture influences an ideal lifestyle once students leave school as it provides a balance of work and play but also makes for a constructive work ethic.
