Shave for a Cure
For years, Chancellor State College has been a supporter of the Leukaemia Foundation, with free dress days once a year to help raise much-needed funds for victims suffering with cancer. Then, in January 2011, a Chancellor student, was diagnosed with Leukaemia. For the graduating class of 2011, and the rest of the college, this came as a major shock. It was impossible to comprehend that something so terrible could happen to someone so wonderful and caring. His condition rapidly intensified, forcing him to move down to The Brisbane Royal Hospital for the appropriate treatment. Leaving his school community, close friends and family behind feeling shocked and helpless.
