In an extended homeroom on a Wednesday during the term, our student leadership team organized house based sports and activities. After a few meetings, we were able to send out a Google forum where the students were able to decide whether they wanted to represent their house in netball, dodgeball, down-ball or trivia in extended homeroom. On the day, the students went to the assigned areas for the sport and got to play. They were able to engage in the sport or activity of their choice and have some fun during a stressful time of the term. The inclusion of house colours was also used to further house pride as people were reminded which house they were playing for.
